New Delhi: Retirement is not on the cards for the Swiss tennis ace, Roger Federer, as the 17-time grand slam champion is set to announce his entire schedule of the forthcoming season.
"I've planned all of 2016, all the way through the Rio Olympics and beyond. I'm going to probably announce that schedule in the coming weeks. I'm looking forward to next year.
“There are no plans to retire yet, I don't have a definite date, even though that would make things easier to plan," Federer was quoted as saying by ESPN.
First thing on the priority list of the 34-year-old is the first slam of the year – Australian Open.
"Australia's obviously a big goal for me and after that it's going to be a long, tough year. I'm feeling fine physically and in good shape. Like I say so many times, I hope I'm still on tour for a while.”
The world No. 3 will also be eyeing Rio Olympics 2016, where he would quest for a hat trick of golds in the singles, doubles, and mixed doubles tournaments.
