New Delhi: The sensational partnership of Sania Mirza and Swiss legend Martina Hingis will be the toughest force in the women's doubles at the upcoming Australian Open starting from January 18.
The Indo-Swiss pair lifted their second trophy of the season with the WTA Apia International title in Sydney after clinching their 30th win a row.
After conquering Brisbane last week, the unstoppable pair broke records in their way to rule Sydney on Friday. This comes as no surprise that the World No. 1 pair will be the clear favourites in Melbourne too.
Winning the season's first Grand Slam will help them to their third title in three different cities and henceforth stamp their authority on Australian soil.
The pair who has been trending on social micro-blogging site Twitter, as #SanTina, posted photos after their consecutive victories in Brisbane and Sydney.

The Indo-Swiss pair had a dream time in 2015 when they won 9 titles which included the Wimbledon, US Open and the year-ending WTA finals.
That form has carried in 2016 as they eye a successive third Grand Slam. With every other opponent falling short in front of the duo, their dominance have taken the level of tennis to another new level.
