Sporting Couple: German football captain Bastian Schweinsteiger marries Tennis ace Ana Ivanovic

New Delhi: Germany football team captain, Bastian Schweinsteiger might have felt disappointed at exiting in the semi-final stage of Euro 2016, but July 2016 will still hold a precious place in his heart. The Manchester United midfielder tied knot with Tennis star Ana Ivanovic on Tuesday, having been in a relationship with the Serbian since 2014.

The duo got married at the Venice City Hall, which has been dedicated to wedding ceremonies since 1990.

Ivanovic's parents, Schweinsteiger's father and brother attended the wedding while the rumored guest list included, Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness, Germany coach Joachim Low, and Schweinsteiger's Germany team-mate Thomas Muller, as well as tennis stars like Kerber and Andy Murray.
