Shocking! Pep Guardiola – World class coach doesn't know how to change a bulb!

New Delhi: One of the most reputed football coaches around the world, Pep Guardiola, is set to take the charge of wealthiest English Premier League club, Manchester City.

Interestingly, at a time when Pep is center of attraction in the football world due to his new signing, his father, Valenti, has offered some family insight into the decorated coach's sheer dedication towards the sport.

“I was working 10 hours a day from the age of 14 on building sites and didn't stop until I was 66. I saw early on there wasn't much danger of him following in my footsteps!

“The one day I took him out to work with me when he was still a kid... he didn't come back after lunch. He can't even change a light bulb!,” Valenti was quoted as saying by the Sun.

“I remember him telling me as an 11-year-old when with his boyhood side, 'Dad, I can't understand lads I play with who are talking about the film they saw last night before they go out on the pitch. They should be thinking about winning!', ” added Pep's father.

Guardiola has signed a three-year contract with City in this summer.

The 45-year-old, currently in charge at Bayern Munich, will replace Manuel Pellegrini, who will leave on 30 June.
