New Delhi: In an incredible county match between Nottinghamshire vs Northamptonshire, several records were shattered during a List A game in England on Monday.
In a Royal London One-Day Cup group match, Michael Lumb (184) and Riki Wessels (146) sent Northamptonshire fielders on a leather hunt as they stitched 342 runs for the opening wicket in 39.2 overs.
As a result of their record stand, which broke the previous record created in England – 318 by Rahul Dravid and Sourav Ganguly against Sri Lanka in Taunton in the 1999 World Cup, Nottinghamshire scored 445 for 8 in their 50 overs.
