4th ODI, Canberra: India vs Australia: Can bowlers avoid more humiliation for Men in Blue?

New Delhi: As India take on Australia in the fourth match of the ongoing ODI series, the burning question remains whether Indian bowlers can win a match for the Men in Blue after three consecutive losses.

In the last three ODIs, three centuries by Indian batsmen have gone in vain as the bowlers failed to defend formidable totals in all the matches. All three matches have been closely fought contests and India had a great chance of winning the third ODI after they reduced the hosts to 215/6.

But the bowlers failed to get more breakthroughs as Glenn Maxwell (96), along with James Faulkner (21*), added 80 runs for the seventh-wicket partnership, which once again exposed Indian bowlers' inability pick wickets when it matters the most.

MS Dhoni's captaincy is also under severe scrutiny as the series loss against the Steve Smith-led side is India's third consecutive series loss in a row.

The 4th ODI will be played at Manuka Oval, Canberra on January 20.
