'Kattapa' REVEALS why he killed 'Baahubali'! Here's what you should know

New Delhi: 'Baahubali: The Beginning' is hailed as one of the biggest Indian historical fiction works we have seen in past decade or so. The film not only was colossal in its scale but also clicked the right button with the audience reaction.

SS Rajamouli, the director of the film has been several times quizzed over the basic question haunting everyone who saw the film. Why did Kattappa kill Baahubali? (Kattappa Ne Baahubali Ko Kyu Maara?) Now, this seems to have been answered by Kattappa himself. Yes! Don't you believe it?

Well, according to Indian Express.com, Kattappa aka Sathyaraj, was asked by Anupama Chopra the same question. The report quotes him as saying, “Because my director told me to.”

Last year, in a video interview, SS Rajamouli was asked the same question and he gave the same answer saying, “Kattappa killed Baahubali because I asked him to.”

Keeping the surprise element intact, Sathyaraj didn't reveal much. However, the report quotes him as saying, “Everyone in the world is asking me the same thing that why Kattappa killed Baahubali. I don’t even get irritated by that question. I have not even told my family about it. I have been in the industry for over 40 years. It is not ethical to reveal climax or the crucial part of the story. I knew the character would become famous but had no idea that it would gain so much popularity across the nation. Even memes were being made on the different situations. Like when demonetisation happened, there were memes on my character and the question that why Kattappa killed Baahubali. I feel happy about it.”
