Spainish tennis maestro Rafael Nadal scripted history on Sunday as he swept aside world number one Novak Djokovic in straight sets in the final of the 2020 French Open to lift a record-extending 13th trophy at the Roland Garros. 

 

The 34-year-old blew away his long time Serbian rival Djokovic in two hours and 41 minutes to clinch a 6-0, 6-2, 7-5 triumph in the summit showdown of the men's singles event of this year's French Open.
