The doubles badminton pair is among the fittest and finest athletes in the country. They came very close to an Olympics medal in Tokyo but ran out of luck. They had a big role in India clinching the Thomas Cup gold medal a few days back. Chirag and Satwik commend each other well on the court and are the best of friends off it. They are still very young and also experienced. Watch out for them in next Olympics and at major badminton doubles events. (Image source: Twitter)

Saurabh Chaudhary

Saurabh Chaudhary

The Indian pistol shooter was at his best during the qualifying round at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. He was consistently good, shooting the 10s regularly. However, he erred in the final. But Saurabh was not a disappointed athlete when he spoke to media after the loss. He was still confident of his skills and said that these losses are building blocks in his career. He is known for his calm head and speaking very less. But Saurabh lets the gun do the talking most of the time. In this year's first ISSF World Cup, he came back to his best, winning gold in 10m air pistol. He is also a Asian Games medallist, winning it at the age of 16, and is definitely one of India's brightest Olympics hope. (Image source: Twitter)

With IPL going on, none cared about karate's prestigious tournament US Open Championships, where an Indian grabbed a gold and bronze medal. Her name is Supriya Jatav. This 30-year-old champion has been dominating the nationals for a decade now and her achievement at the US Open Championships is nothing less than a Indian cricket team winning an ICC event or a Thomas Cup win in badminton. (Image source: Twitter)

Lakshya Sen

Lakshya Sen has been there in Indian badminton circuit for quite some time now and has finally found his rhythm in 2022. The rising Indian shuttler won India Open 2022 this year and played a big role in India clinching its first-ever Thomas Cup title in 73 years, beating World No 5 Indonesian Anthony Sinisuka Ginting after being a game behind. That was some win and it sort of motivated the whole team to go strong till the last breath and the rest is history. Lakshya is India's next big hope in Olympics. (Image source: Twitter)

Umran Malik

This pacer from Jammu may not have made it big yet in international cricket but surely has the potental to break barriers. Umran is known for his pace, who has already clocked 157 kph in the Indian Premier League, while playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Many want to see him in India colours soon and even BCCI president Sourav Ganguly feels he will be a big threat for other teams with his pace. He is once-in-a-lifetime bowler and someone who could make India proud at the big stage. (Image source: Twitter)
