Australian leg-spinner Adam Zampa who played for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the previous seasons and Shakib Al Hasan who represented Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad remained unsold in the IPL 2023 auction at Kochi on Friday. Along with these two England Test captain Joe Root and South Africa's T20 specialist, Rilee Rossouw was also not picked by any of the 10 franchise. Sri Lanka's Kusal Mendis also failed to find any buyer.
