World's Highest Chenab Rail Bridge: Taller Than Eiffel Tower, Longer Than 1 KM - It's A True Engineering Marvel

The Chenab Bridge, a structural marvel, spans the Chenab River gorge in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir as part of the USBRL Project.

As per ANI, This bridge was constructed 359 metres (around 109 feet) above the Chenab River in the Jammu and Kashmir region and is around 35 metres taller than the Eiffel Tower. The train service from Ramban to Reasi pass over the world's highest railway bridge built across the Chenab River.

The Chenab Rail Bridge, situated 359 meters (about 1,109 feet) above the Chenab River in the Jammu and Kashmir, is approximately 35 meters taller than the Eiffel Tower.

The 1,315 metre-long bridge is part of a broader project that aims to make the Kashmir valley accessible by the Indian Railway network. 

This connection will enhance regional connectivity, boost economic development and provide a significant transportation boost to the region.

With the Udhampur Srinagar Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project nearing completion, Indian Railways is on the verge of linking the Kashmir Valley to all across India.
