2023 Maruti Suzuki Jimny Review: Design, Mileage, Features, Off-Roading - IN PICS

The Jimny is expected to launch in India on June 7, and the off-roader will take on the likes of the Mahindra Thar and Force Gurha.

The tailgate of the Jimny is fitted with a spare wheel. The bumper gets a total of 4 parking sensors, and there's a reverse camera too, on offer.

The Jimny uses a ladder-frame chassis with a 1.5L engine that channels power to all wheels via solid axles and a transfer case. It returns an ARAI-claimed mileage of 16.94 kmpl with 5-speed MT and 16.39 kmpl with 4-speed AT.

The Mahindra Thar rival gets an all-black theme for the dashboard, which houses a 9-inch touchscreen unit, embaled with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The instrument cluster on the Jimny gets two analogue pods for the tachometer and speedometer. Furthermore, there's an MID sitting in between the two.

The rear seats of the Maruti Suzuki Jimny offer a 50:50 split, while they come with 2-stage recline function.

The Jimny's centre console gets two cup holders in the centre console, which also houses the rear power window buttons.

In the 5-door format, the Maruti Suzuki Jimny gets a boot space of 208 litres, which can be expanded to over 300 litres by folding down the second row of seats.
