The counting of votes for the high-stakes assembly polls in states- West Bengal and Tamil Nadu is underway.

As per the initial trends, MK Stalin's party DMK has taken an early lead in Tamil Nadu with 97 seats, while AIADMK is leading on 62 seats.

The poll body has directed CS of all four states and one UT to file FIR in each such case, suspend SHO of the concerned PS and report the action taken immediately of each such incidence.
