Karnataka Assembly Elections: A Look At How PM Modi Will Lead BJP's Mega Poll Campaign
PM Narendra Modi will begin election campaigning for the Bharatiya Janata Party in Karnataka this weekend. The prime minister is likely to hold as many as 22 rallies in the poll-bound state.
As per media reports, PM Narendra Modi will address rallies in Humnabad, Vijayapura, Kudachi and Bengaluru North on April 29. He may also hold rallies in Kolar, Channapattna and Belur on April 30.
On May 2, PM Modi is likely to hold public meetings in Chitradurga, Vijayanagara, Sindhanur, and Kalaburgi, followed by rallies in Moodabidri, Karwar, and Kittur on May 3.
According to reports, Prime Minister Modi will also campaign for BJP in Chittapur, Nanjangud, Tumakuru Rural, and Bengaluru South on May 6.
On the penultimate day (May 7), before the close of the campaign, PM Modi may address rallies in Badami, Haveri, Shivamogga Rural and Bengaluru Central.
The polls for the 224-seat Karnataka assembly are slated to take place on May 10 and the counting will take place on May 13. The BJP is aiming to secure its second term in the southern state.
