J&K Assembly Election Results: Top Performers Who Won Seats By Highest Margin
On Tuesday, the National Conference-Congress alliance secured victory in the Jammu and Kashmir elections, the first assembly polls in ten years, defying exit polls that had anticipated a hung assembly. The BJP came in second, winning 29 constituencies, surpassing its previous record of 25 seats from the 2014 elections. The Congress managed to claim six seats.

BJP candidate Devender Rana secured the Nagrota seat with the largest margin of 30,472 votes, defeating NC's Joginder Singh, who received 17,641 votes.
Ghulam Ahmad Mir
AICC general secretary Ghulam Ahmad Mir achieved a notable victory with a margin of 29,728 votes, one of the highest in the elections.
Surjit Singh Slathia
Surjit Singh Slathia, a defector from NC to BJP, won the Samba seat by a margin of 29,481 votes, further boosting the BJP's performance.

NC's Irshad Rasool Karwon the Sopore seat with a margin of 20,356 votes,
Aijaz Ahmad Jan
NC's Aijaz Ahmad Jan won the Poonch-Haveli seat by a margin of 20,879 votes, marking the NC's highest-margin victories.
