Directed by Atul Manjrekar, Fanney Khan is a musical comedy film starring Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles. Divya Dutta and Pihu Sand play the supporting roles. Presented by Gulshan Kumar's T-Series, Fanney Khan is jointly produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's ROMPL Production and Anil Kapoor Films & Communication Network. ‘Fanney Khan’ will see Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anil Kapoor sharing screen space after 18 years. But they aren’t romantically paired opposite each other. Aishwarya and Anil have worked in Subhash Ghai's Taal in 1999 and Satish Kaushik's Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai in 2000. The film is an official remake of Belgian film 'Everybody's Famous!'. The film is slated to release on August 3.

Anubhav Sinha's Mulk stars Rishi Kapoor and Taapsee Pannu in the lead roles. The film based on true events, is a courtroom drama that revolves around the real-life struggles of a common man. Taapsee who has delivered intense performances in films such as Pink and Naam Shabana plays an advocate in the film. The social-thriller jointly produced by Deepak Mukut & Anubhav Sinha will also feature Ashutosh Rana, Prateik Babbar, Rajat Kapoor and Neena Gupta. Mulk will release on August 3.

Directed by Akarsh Khurana, Karwaan starring Irrfan Khan, Dulquer Salmaan and Mithila Palkar is releasing on August 3.The film's lead actor Irrfan, who is undergoing treatment for a rare disease in London, has been promoting the film on social media. The film revolves around three people from different walks of life. Circumstances bring them together and they set out on an unusual journey.

Kamal Haasan's Vishwaroopam 2, which happens to be a sequel to 2013 spy-thriller Vishwaroop, also stars Rahul Bose, Shekhar Kapur, Pooja Kumar and Andrea Jeremiah in lead roles. The series is one of Haasan's most ambitious projects and had been in production for quite some time. Vishwaroopam is written and directed by Kamal and produced by S.Chandrahasan & Kamal Haasan. The film has been presented by Rohit Shetty & Reliance Entertainment. It will hit theatres on August 10.

After impressing moviegoers with a patriotic film like 'Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran', John Abraham is back with yet another action-packed film. Also starring Manoj Bajpayee, Satyameva Jayate is written & directed by Milap Milan Zaveri. The film which will release on August 15 also stars Amruta Khanvilkar and Aisha Sharma.

Gold is directed by Reema Kagti. The film is based on the life of a sportsman who was a part of the Hockey team that won the Olympic medal for India post independence for the first time at the Games of the XIV Olympiad, London in 1948. The film has been jointly produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. TV actress Mouni Roy, best known for playing Parvati in Devon Ke Dev Mahadev and Shivanya in Naagin, makes her Bollywood debut with this film. Mouni Roy essays Mrs. Monobina Das, wife of Tapan Das (Akshay Kumar). Kunal K Kapoor, Vineet Singh and Amit Sadh too play important characters in the film. Gold will release on August 15.

The sequel to 2016 super-hit film Happy Bhag Jayegi has two new characters played by Sonakshi Sinha and Jassi Gill. Titled as 'Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi', the film directed by Mudassar Aziz is produced by Aanand L Rai and Krishika Lulla. The film which will release on August 24 also stars Diana Penty, Jimmy Sheirgill, Ali Fazal, Abhay Deol and Aparshakti Khurana.

The film starring Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol is the third instalment of the franchise which began with Yamla Pagla Deewana in 2011. Directed by Samir Karnik, the first instalment minted over Rs 150 crores at the Box Office. The trio returned with the second instalment Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 directed by Sangeeth Sivan in 2013 but it turned out to be a dud. But the trio is back to tickle your funny bone once again. YPD Phir Se will also have special appearances by Salman Khan and evergreen beauty Rekha. The film is slated to release on August 31.

Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree, a Horror-comedy genre film stars Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles. The trailer of the film which was unveiled a few days back tickled people's funny bone. It is Shraddha and Rajkummar's first film together. Stree has Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee in supporting roles. It will release on August 31.
