Meet Anita Verma-Lallian, Film Producer Who Bought Matthew Perry's LA Home

Anita Verma Lallian bought Matthew Perry's home. She took to instagram and shared the good news. She also penned down a heartfelt note, ''As a real estate developer myself, I believe every property has a history that we may or may not know about, and every home carries the energy that the current owner brings to it.  I am Hindu, and it’s customary to do a blessing and prayer anytime you buy a new home. We were so lucky to have our Panditji from Arizona come to the house to do the blessing.''

the note futher reads, ''We chose to honor the positive aspects of the previous owner’s life, his immense talent, and all the joy he brought to so many people. The decision to purchase the home had nothing to do with the previous owner, just our love of the home.''  

Anita Verma-Lallian, founder of Camelback Productions, aims to bring South Asian representation to film. She is also a real estate consultant and production company owner. Verma holds strong portfolio she earned her MBA from the University of Southern California in 2007 and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Arizona in 2004.

Anita Verma Lallian bought Matthew Perry's home. She reportedly bought Perry’s home for $8.5 million in an off-market deal. Per the publication, Perry bought the home in 2020 for $6 million.

Anita Verma-Lallian's professional achievements include being named a "Dynamic Woman" by Modern Luxury in 2021 and receiving the "Global Real Estate Leader of the Year" award from the Global Chamber of Phoenix in both 2018 and 2019. She was also recognized among the "Most Influential Women in Commercial Real Estate" by AZ Business Magazine and highlighted as one of the "Women Who Move the Valley" by Arizona Foothills Magazine.

Anita publicly supported Kamala Harris and, alongside her husband Doug Emhoff, co-hosted a fundraiser for Harris.
