Ather 450X price slashed by Rs 14,500 with hike in FAME-II subsidy, check new rate, features: In Pics

Ather 450X was launched by Ather Energy in Plus and Pro trims in January 2020. The Ather 450X Plus electric scooter was rolled out in Indian markets at a price point of Rs 1.49 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). 

Ather Energy is offering a discount of Rs 14,500 on Ather 450X electric scooter. With the revision in prices, the two-wheeler is now retailing at Rs 1,32,426 and Rs 1,44,500 in Delhi and Bengaluru, respectively. Both prices are ex-showroom.

Ather 450X offers three riding modes: Eco, Ride, and Sport. The Eco mode gives more kilometres per charge, but limits the maximum speed while Sport mode ensures higher speed but low kilometres per charge. 

 

The newly launched Warp mode lets the rider go from 0 to 40 km/h in just 3.29 seconds. The company also offers a new smart helmet and extra accessories with 450X. 

Ather 450X appears to be the sportier cousin of its 450 models. The bike comes with a seven-inch touchscreen that provides necessary readouts, thanks to the Android-based open-source operating system. 

 

The electric two-wheeler also has built-in Bluetooth connectivity that allows riders to play music and check the notification on the display. An in-built 4G sim for connectivity is provided in Ather 450X. 

Currently, Ather 450X is retailing in select cities including Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi NCR, Pune, Hyderabad, and Mumbai.
