2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan now in India: Check out these super cool pics

Royal Enfield has launched the much-awaited updated version of its popular bike, Himalayan.

The 2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan gets cosmetic updates and a host of new features.

The bike gets three new shades and ergonomic tweaks.

The adventure motorcycle gets Rs. 9,913 costlier than the previous model.

The new Himalayan stays almost similar to the previous BS6 model as far as design is concerned. What has changed is the paint scheme, the bike gets three new colours which include Pine Green, Granite Black, Mirage Silver.

The existing bike will be sold along with this new offering in Royal Enfield showrooms. The Mirage Silver coloured bike gets a contrasting tan-brown seat which offers great support over long highway rides.

Royal Enfield Himalayan still uses the same 411cc single-cylinder motor which produces 24.31PS of power and 32Nm of peak torque which is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

The bike gets 31mm Telescopic forks at the front and gets a mono-shock with linkage at the rear. The bike offers 180mm of wheel travel.

The bike gets radial tyres all along with spokes. The front tyre is 90/90-21 and the rear is 120/90-17 in size.

The biggest change in 2021 Himalayan is the addition of Royal Enfield's Tripper Navigation system. The company launched this navigation system with its Meteor 350.

The rear carrier on the new Himalayan now comes with an additional plate to ensure secure fastening and placement of any luggage.

Additionally, the rear carrier is now also reduced in height, making it easier for riders to mount the motorcycle.

The bike still gets Halogen light at the front and LED light at the rear. The seat is designed with high-density foam in order to give a cushiony ride on off-roads.

The bike also gets updated tank braces which makes it easier for tall bikes to ride the bike comfortably. The bike gets tweaked tail racks so as to increase sturdiness.

The windshield at the front gets a height increase helping the rider from windblast. 

Royal Enfield Himalayan still makes for a budget adventure motorcycle for Indian streets. The bike continues to get a similar engine with cosmetic updates.

The bike has great potential not just to munch miles tirelessly but with the go-anywhere ability.

The bike is costlier than before but still makes for a great package overall.

2021 Royal Himalayan is priced at Rs. 2,01,314 (ex-showroom) and still remains a value for money proposition.
