Lucky Grahak Yojana winners to be announced today

New Delhi: The next lot of winners under lucky Grahak Yojana Will be announced in Amritsar on Friday.

NITI Aayog, which is at the forefront of conducting the lucky draw scheme tweeted on Friday:

One can know the winners by logging on to http: digidhanlucky.mygov.in, and filling in one's registered mobile number. One will see a window with green background. In the middle-right, one can see an option “Check If you are winner”

To promote cashless digital payments, government is giving away rewards up to Rs 1 Crore.

Daily 15,000 people would be randomly selected through a computerised lucky draw.

Government is spending Rs 340 Cr for this digital payment lucky draw. Daily 15,000 people would get the prize, where every person would get Rs 1000.

These prizes would be given for 100 days. However, there are weekly prizes too. The weekly prizes worth Rs 1 lakh, Rs 10,000 and Rs 5000 would also be annouced. 

The Mega draw would happen on 14th April, on the day of Ambedkar Jayanti, wherein  3 mega prizes would be given, the first of Rs 1 Crore, the second of Rs 50 lakh and the third prize of Rs 25 lacs

The lucky winner of this scheme is selected from each category of the transactions. everyday, There are a fixed number of winners in each category.

In total 11,900 winners carrying out transctions through RuPay Card will get an award. 1,500 users on UPI platform will be selected, while 1,500 users on AEPS and 100 users on USSD platform will be randomly selected.

The payment through the digital wallets e. g. Paytm, Mobikwik, Freecharge, pockets, Buddy would not be eligible for this scheme, unless consumer uses the UPI mode of fund transfer.
