New Delhi: Veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor is quite an avid user of micro-blogging site Twitter and makes sure he speaks his mind, without sugar coating anything. A few days back when legendary star Vinod Khanna passed away, Rishi Kapoor was majorly upset with Bollywood stars of this generation for not attending Khanna's funeral.
A visibly angry senior Kapoor wrote:
Shameful. Not ONE actor of this generation attended Vinod Khanna's funeral. And that too he has worked with them. Must learn to respect. — Rishi Kapoor (@chintskap) April 27, 2017
Why this? Including mine and thereafter. When I die, I must be prepared.None will shoulder me. Very very angry with today's so called stars. — Rishi Kapoor (@chintskap) April 27, 2017
However, this must have been a sort of an eye-opener to the actors of this generation. Recently, at the prayer meet of late Vinod Khanna, the entire film fraternity showed solidarity and came to pay their last respects.
Rishi Kapoor took to Twitter and hailed the industry people this time.
Thank you my film brethren for your solidarity shown towards the Khanna family. Hum mein ab bhi insaniyat baaki hai. Love you all — Rishi Kapoor (@chintskap) May 3, 2017
Late actor Vinod Khanna's son Rahul Khanna took to Twitter and thanked everyone for supporting the family in this hour of grief.
