Ranveer Singh fails to pay driver's salary; latter creates scene on Padmavati sets

New Delhi: Well, another major fight recently erupted on the sets of filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming movie Padmavati. No, we aren’t talking about any protest based on the release or script of the flick. But, this time, actor Ranveer Singh was the reason behind the same.

According to a SpotboyE report, it all started when driver Sooraj Pal demanded his two-month salary of Rs 85,000 from the manager of the Bajirao Mastani hunk. It is being said that Sooraj was then escorted out of the sets by Ranveer's bodyguard Vinayak and the duo were later caught hurling abuses at each other.

Growing tension between the duo reportedly interrupted the shoot for a little while. However, Sooraj, who got fired from the job, is still alleging that he is yet to receive his dues.

In Padmavati, Dippy will be seen essaying the character of Rani Padmini. The movie will also feature Shahid Kapoor as Maharawal Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji.

It is slated to release on December 1 this year.
