Prime Minister Narendra Modi had no problems with Priyanka Chopra’s attire

Mumbai: Priyanka Chopra, who had in impromptu meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Berlin a few weeks ago, was slammed for wearing a short dress and sitting crossed leg in front of him.

The former Miss World, who masters the art of giving befitting responses to trolls, posted a photograph on Instagram that showed her and her mother wearing short dress and flaunting their legs.

Madhu Chopra , who co-produces regional films with the ‘desi girl’ has said that the PM himself had no issues with Priyanka’s dress.

According to a report in DNA, Madhu said, “Her neckline was right up to her jaw, her hands were covered. They met in the lobby before she was to go for a Baywatch promotional event. She couldn’t have pleaded with the PM to give her two minutes so that she could wear a sari.”

The protocol officer apparently said that the PM had no problems with what she was wearing.

“He and his team had no problem. In fact, we got an official communication from the protocol officer later that the PM had no issue with it. But the trolls on social media diluted the whole intent of the meeting,” she said.
