Kannada actress Avantika Shetty alleges harassment, asks 'are women really safe in film industry?'

New Delhi: Kannada actor Avantika Shetty on Saturday made some shocking revelations online. In a Facebook post, she reportedly accused film producer K Suresh of 'objectification'. Avantika also explained that she wrote the online note out of 'disgust and a fair bit of helplessness'.

According to an indiatvnews.com and various other reports, Avantika has alleged sexual harassment against Suresh. The report further mentioned that she was unceremoniously asked to leave for her home city. However, the star has now filed a complaint with the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce about the same.
