Birthday special: Kajol turns 43!

New Delhi: Bollywood actress Kajol celebrates her 43rd birthday on August 5 and the timeless beauty also completes her glorious 25 years in cinema this year. 

The dusky beauty Kajol made the 90s a golden era for movie lovers. 

She started her career in Bollywood with 'Bekhudi' which released in 1992. But she was highly appreciated for her next big venture 'Baazigar' which hit the screens in 1993. The revenge thriller gave us Kajol and Shah Rukh KHan first time together on the big screens.

There are so many blockbusters such as ' Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge','Kuch Kuch Hota Hai', 'My Name Is Khan','Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham', 'Fanaa', 'Ishq'. The list is endless. 

Her non-stop hit films made her the only actress in Bollywood to have won five `Best Actress` Filmfare awards. Her intense act in 1998 psychological thriller `Dushman` received rave reviews from the critics as well as her dedicated fans.
She not only got appreciation from the film fraternity but also received the fourth highest civilian award in the country—Padma Shri in 2011. 

'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge' gained the cult status and rightly so. The epic love story of Raj and Simran is still etched in our hearts. 

Kajol and Ajay Devgn got married in the year 1999 and are blessed with two kids daughter Nysa and son Yug.

The actress will soon be seen in Tamil movie 'VIP 2' with Dhanush. It is slated to hit the screens on August 11, 2017.
