After 10 months in coma, actor-filmmaker Neeraj Vora shows signs of recovery

Actor- filmmaker Neeraj Vora who is known for films like 'Hera Pheri', 'Welcome Back' and 'Bol Bachchan' to name a few was in coma for the last 10 months after he faced a massive heart attack and a brain stroke back in October 2016.

New Delhi: Actor- filmmaker Neeraj Vora who is known for films like 'Hera Pheri', 'Welcome Back' and 'Bol Bachchan' to name a few was in coma for the last 10 months after he faced a massive heart attack and a brain stroke back in October 2016. 

To everyone's relief, the actor has finally shown signs of recovery, a report suggests.

He was admitted in AIIMS from where he was shifted to his friend, Sajid Nadiawala's house in Mumbai where a room was converted into an ICU. 

According to a Hindustan Times report, Sajid said in a recent interview: 

“He’s been responding to audio therapy, particularly when we play his father’s (Pandit Vinayak Rai Nanalal Vora) music. He has yet to recover his speech but there are no infections or bed sores and the doctors have assured us that his life is out of danger.”
