Dilapidated building collapses in Mumbai, none hurt
A building collapsed in Matunga, Maharashtra, but no one was dead or injured in the mishap.
Mumbai: A building, which was partly demolished, Sunday collapsed in Matunga here, police said.
However, no one was dead or injured in the mishap which took place at around 7 PM at Bhandarkar road in Matunga East area, a senior police official said.
The ground-plus-three-storied Mahavir building was partly demolished, he said.
A few people, who were stranded near the building, were safely rescued by local residents before the fire brigade officials arrived, the officer added.
