New Delhi: Amidst serious discussion in the Rajya Sabha over the Centre`s demonetisation move, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday could not resist himself from laughing briefly over a comment made by Samajwadi Party leader Naresh Agarwal.
As Samajwadi Party leader Naresh Agarwal took a swipe at demonetisation decision and spoke about the law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh, both Prime Minister Modi and Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley shared a good laugh.
"When you talk about threats to your life, we are deeply hurt. You can move around without any worry in Uttar Pradesh because the law and order situation there is very good," he said jocularly.
During the intense discussion on demonetisation, Agarwal also taunted Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.
