Punjab Assembly elections: Amrinder Singh Kicks off poll-linked 'Coffee with Captain' forum

Amritsar: Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President Captain Amarinder Singh has kicked off his newly introduced interactive forum 'Coffee with Captain' from Amritsar.

The programme is aimed at interacting with the people from all walks of life where Singh will directly answer questions and share his ideas over a cup of coffee.

The first edition, Coffee with Captain 1.0, focuses on an interaction with students, and the youth of Punjab.

During an interaction with students, one of them, Pushapdeep Singh, asked Singh whether he would enhance attempts to clear PPS from existing 4 to 9 as in case of UPSC.

Another student asked whether his public meetings would be a continuous programme, or like Arun Jaitley , he would only have interaction with the upper crusts of society.

Amarinder justified his effort saying it was the best interactive mode to understand the people.
