Mamata Banerjee will hold talks with the leadership and attend a business conclave

Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today left for five-day visit to Bhutan, where she will hold talks with the leadership and attend a business conclave.
Banerjee is accompanied by West Bengal Housing Minister and in-charge of Sports Arup Biswas, Chief Secretary Sanjay Mitra and Transport Secretary Alapan Bandyopadhyay.

The 15-member delegation also comprised several industrialists.

She will attend a business conclave in the picturesque Himalayan nation

She is slated to hold meetings with Bhutan Prime Minister Lyonchhen Tshering Tobgay and Minister of Economic Affairs Lyonpo Norbu Wangchuk, according to her itinerary announced few days back.

On October 6, the CM would have a meeting with the Bhutanese king.

A Bengali food festival is also planned at Hotel Taj Tashi during her tour.

The district magistrates of Alipurduar and Jalpaiguri, which share border with Bhutan, would also be part of the delegation.
