New Delhi: An Indian maid who lost a hand after it was chopped off by her employer in Saudi Arabia in a brutal assualt, will finally return home on Saturday.

Munirathinam Kasthuri, who hails from Tamil Nadu, is expected arrive in Chennai from Saudi Arabia later on Saturday.

“We have organised the return of Kasturi Munirathnam from Saudi Arabia. She is reaching Chennai today,” ANI quoted an official of the external affairs ministry as saying.

Under the Saudi rules, the employer or sponsor has to grant the exit visa.
