Arvind Kejriwal's new poser: What is Arun Jaitley's relationship with Arnab Goswami?

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday hit back at Times Now editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami and questioned his relationship with Union Finance Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Arun Jaitley.

AAP on Thursday alleged huge financial bunglings in the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) during Jaitley's 13 year-old tenure as its chief, saying large amounts were siphoned off through fake companies besides other irregularities including in team selection.

The Aam Aadmi Party chief today re-tweeted a tweet of Vinita Deshmukh, Consulting Editor, MoneyLife, in which she equated Arnab with India Today's Consulting Editor Rajdeep Sardesai, accusing the former of staunchly defending the senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and saying that the latter is more objectively handling the DDCA issue.

While expressing his own views on the tweet, the Delhi CM wrote: “Arnab ought to answer this. What is Arnab's relationship wid Jaitley ji?”

The AAP and the BJP were locked in a bitter war on Thursday, with Kejriwal seeking Finance Minister resignation for corruption and the latter accusing the AAP leader of spreading "untruth and falsehood".

Continuing its attack on Jaitley over alleged corruption when he headed Delhi's cricket association, Kejriwal said Jaitley must resign or should be sacked. The BJP and the central government rejected the demand.

Jaitley broke his silence by writing a blog and addressing the media, a day after Congress and AAP targeted him and asked him to quit over allegations of financial bungling in the DDCA which he had headed for 14 years till 2013.
