Monsoon weakens in Himachal Pradesh
Mild rains occurred at isolated places as monsoon remained weak in Himachal Pradesh, Met department officials said today. Monsoon has started receding from some parts and has weakened rest of Himachal, officials said.

Rains or thunderstorm will be experienced at isolated places on September 14 and 16. However, dry weather will prevail from September 16, they added.
Minimum temperatures, however, dropped by a few notches as sky remained overcast with cool breeze sweeping the region.
Keylong and Kalpa in tribal Lahaul and Spiti, and Kinnaur districts recorded minimum temperatures at 8.9 degree and?9.6 degree respectively.
Manali recorded a low of 11.2 degree, followed by Shimla 15.5 degree, Dharamsala 15.8 degree, Solan 17.4 degree, Bhuntar 18.6 degree,Nahan 19.4 degree, Sundernagar 21.4 degree and Una 23.5 degree.
Una was the hottest during the day with maximum temperature at 35.8. Bhuntar recorded 32.2 degree, Sundernagar?30.9 degree, Solan 29.2 degree, Solan 29.2 degree, Dharamsala ?28.2 degree, Nahan 27.8 degree, Manali 25.0 degree, Shimla 24.2 degree and Kalpa 23.2 degree.
Jogindernagar recorded 13 mm rains, followed by Dharamsala 6 mm, Manali 5 mm, Kangra 4 mm and Baijnath? 2 mm while weather remained dry in rest of Himachal.
