Machilipatnam: Andhra Pradesh Minister Kollu Ravindra on Monday said that the state government will give top priority to improve quality of education in the state. Ravindra, Minister for Exice and BC Welfare, inaugurated 'Krishna Tarang -2015 Inter Collegiate Youth Festival' at the Krishna University campus here.
"State government will give top priority to improve (quality of) education in the state. Particularly Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is going to concentrate on converting AP as an education hub," he said.
Around 1,000 students will participate in Inter Collegiate Youth Festival from 161 affiliated colleges of the Krishna varsity and a total of 26 events will be conducted in the festival.
The festival will conclude on January 6 and its winners will participate in South Zone Inter University Youth Festival at Mangalore.
