Islamabad: Azam Saigol Chairman of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has resigned from his post following the crash of flight PK-661 near Islamabad which claimed the lives of all 48 people on-board.
The Express Tribune quoted PIA spokesperson Danyal Gillani, as saying that Saigol resigned citing personal reasons.
He had been PIA chairman since May 2016.
The airline has announced temporary suspension of its 10 ATR flights after the Civil Aviation Authority took a decision to hold shakedown tests. (ANI)
