Washington: American singer Kesha didn't perform at MTV VMAs 2017, but delivered a powerful speech on suicide prevention.

Before introducing Logic, Khalid and Alessis to the stage for a performance of "1-800-273-8255," Kesha promoted a strong and emotional message on suicide prevention.

The Tik Tok superstar invited survivors of suicide attempts and those who had lost their loved ones to suicide to their emotions by saying that, "It has been said that if you knew who walked beside you, you would never experience fear and doubt again."

She added "It takes great courage to show the vulnerable side of being human. And, we all have that vulnerable side. Whatever you are going through, however dark it may seem, there is an undeniable truth and strength in the fact that you are not alone. We all have struggles. And, as long as you never give up on yourself, light will break through the darkness."

Interestingly, the singer shared her new album Rainbow on August 11, 2017.

Logic shared his words to the audience, "Here, now if you believe in this message-our message of peace, love, positivity, equality for all-I demand that you rise to your feet and applaud not only for yourselves, but for the foundation we all raised for children".
