Banswara Lok Sabha constituency of Rajasthan: Full list of candidates, polling dates

Banswara Constituency is one of the 25 Lok Sabha constituencies in Rajasthan. It was formed before the 1952 elections.

Banswara registered 72.81 per cent voter turnout in 2019, a gain of 3.75 per cent. The total number of electors in the constituency is 1975198 while the total voter turnout is 1438066. While in 2014, the constituency registered 69.06 per cent voter turnout. The total number of electors in the constituency was 1692436 while the total voter's turnout was 1168742.

Kanakmal Katara of Bharatiya Janata Party, Tarachand Bhagora of Indian National Congress and Bapulal of Bahujan Samaj Party are a few prominent candidates contesting for general election 2019 from Banswara Lok Sabha constituency of Rajasthan. 

It is reserved for the ST category and comprises of eight Vidhan Sabha segments.

The voting for the parliamentary polls 2019 on this seat took place in the fourth phase on April 29.

The results will be declared on May 23.

Manshankar Ninama of BJP was elected Member of Parliament from this constituency.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Ninama managed to get 577433 votes and trounced Resham Malviya of the INC who got 485517 votes.
