In Tamil Nadu, the Trends/Results available for 232 seats at 3.40 pm as per ECI are as follows:
AIADMK: Wins - 33; Leading - 101 (134)
DMK+: Wins - 24, Leading - 71 (95)
All the results have been declared in Puducherry and the DMK-Congress alliance has registered victory in the Union Territory, defeating the ruling All India NR Congress (AINRC).
According to the Election Commission, the Indian National Congress won 15 seats and DMK 2, taking the alliance tally to 17 - one more than the 16 required to form government in the 30-member Puducherry Assembly.
AINRC, on the other hand, could manage to win only eight seats while AIADMK won four.
One seat was bagged by an Independent candidate.

Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh says the alliance had had a strong showing in Tamil Nadu.
In other trends, AIADMK ministers R Natham Viswanathan (Athur), R Vaithilingam (Orathanadu), P Palaniyappan (Pappireddippatti) S Gokula Indira (Anna Nagar) and B Valarmathi (Thousand Lights) are trailing their rivals.
DMK's TRB Rajaa is trailing AIADMK's S Kamaraji in Mannargudi segment.
Senior DMK leader Duraimurugan is leading in Katpadi.
In Tamil Nadu, VCK leader Thol Thirumavalavan is trailing AIADMK and Congress in Kattumannarkoil (SC) constituency.
The six seats from which AINRC has won in Puducherry include: Indira Nagar (Chief Minister N Rangasamy), Kadirgamam (N S J Jayabal), Karaikal North (P R N Thirumurugan), Mangalam (S V Sugumaran), Mannadipet (T P R Selvame) and Nedungadu (Chandirapriyanga).

Even as AIADMK leads in 133 out of the total 232 seats for which votes are being counted on Thursday, the bad news for the incumbent party has come from Chennai, which was battered by flash floods in December and whose voters appeared to have overwhelmingly turned against the ruling party.
According to trends, AIADMK candidates are trailing behind the DMK in 12 of the 16 constituencies in the capital. Jayalalithaa, however, is leading in the city`s Radhakrishnan Nagar constituency.
The DMK had in its election campaign played up the havoc caused by the floods.
In Puducherry, Congress has won four seats while ruling AINRC has bagged one seat in the 30-member Puducherry Assembly so far.
Congress won Kamaraj Nagar (V Vaithithilingam), Nellithope (John Kumar), Yanam (Malladi Krishna Rao) and Lawspet (V P Sivakolundhu). AINRC candidate N S J Jayabal alias Ayyanar won in Kadirgamam, defeating Independent S Ramesh by a margin of 3,802 votes.
PMK chief ministerial candidate Anbumani Ramadoss is trailing in Pennagaram constituency. Ramadoss is behind the DMK candidate Inbasekaran and AIADMK nominee K P Munusamy.
BJP's Tamil Nadu unit president Tamilisai Soundararajan is trailing in Virugambakkam constituency. As per latest trends, Soundararajan was in the third position behind the candidates of DMK and AIADMK.
Meanwhile, the third front of DMDK-PWF-TMC, which projected itself as an alternative to the Dravidian majors, is nowhere in the lead so far.
AIADMK chief Jayalalithaa is leading by over 16,000 votes in Dr RK Nagar constituency, forging ahead of her DMK rival Shimla Muthchozhan.
PTI reported a shortwhile back that DMK treasurer MK Stalin is leading in Kolathur constituency by 2,758 votes. DMK chief M Karunanidhi's son Stalin, seeking re-election from the seat, was leading with 6,182 votes over his nearest AIADMK rival J D C Prabhakar (3,424 votes).
AINRC leader and incumbent Puducherry CM N Rangasamy wins Indira Nagar constituency by a margin of 3,404 votes, reports The Hindu.
The Hindu reports that Jaya aide O Panneerselvam is holding his lead in Bodi with 31,108 votes.

In Kadirgamam constituency in Puducherry, AINRC's NSJ Jayabal alias Ayyanar defeated his nearest rival, independent S Ramesh, by a margin of 3,802 votes.
In Puducherry, trends at 10 am show DMK-Congress alliance leading in 15 seats, ruling AINRC ahead at 5, AIADMK leading in 3, Others at 1.
Among the key candidates leading are: O Panneerselvam (Bodinayakanur, AIADMK), M Karunanidhi (Thiruvarur, DMK), J Jayalalithaa (RK Nagar, AIADMK), MK Stalin
(Kolathur, DMK).

In Puducherry, ruling AINRC has opened its account with a victory in one seat. However, it is trailing behind the DMK+ in trends.
Incumbent Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa's AIADMK has taken a comfortable lead in early trends in Tamil Nadu. While AIADMK is leading in 102 seats, the DMK-Congress alliance is leading in 80.
Will Jayalalithaa be making a comeback in Tamil Nadu? Current trends show AIADMK taking leading in 93 seats while the DMK-Congress alliance is ahead in 76 seats. As per ANI, other parties are yet to open their account in terms of leads.
In Puducherry, the DMK-Congress alliance is leading in 4 seats, while AIADMK and AINRC are both ahead in 1.
Polling will be held in Thanjavur and Aravakurichi constituencies on May 23 and could prove to be crucial with the current trend showing a neck and neck fight between the AIADMK and DMK alliance.
Trends are now available for 137 constituencies in Tamil Nadu. AIADMK is leading in 73 while the Congress-DMK alliance is a close second in 64.
