SRINAGAR: Separatist and Dukhtaran-e-Millat chief Asiya Andrabi observed Pakistan National Day in Srinagar on Friday. During the event, Asiya Andrabi reportedly said 'all Muslims in the sub-continent are Pakistanis'. "Every Muslim in the sub-continent is a Pakistani on the basis of Islam, Iman (faith), Quran and love for Prophet Muhammad (SAW)," she said.

During the event, she along with her supporters also sang Pakistan's national anthem. The event was held at an undisclosed location in Srinagar. As per some videos of the programme, Andrabi can be seen singing praises of Pakistan.

Pakistan celebrates March 23 every year as its Republic Day to commemorate the adoption of the first constitution in 1956. It is celebrating its 78th Pakistan Day on Friday with Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena as the guest of honour at parade at Shakarparian.

This is not the first time that Andrabi has supported Pakistan. In March 2017, she was reportedly caught on camera interacting with terrorists in Pakistan and plotting against India. She was heard saying anti-India comments and were seen to be harming Indian interests in Kashmir. She was even heard in a video saying that she supported the act of her 'so called' brother Hafeez Saeed

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) had also in the past termed Dukhtaran-e-Millat, an all-woman outfit based in Kashmir, as a "terrorist" organisation. The NIA made the decision after the outfit openly supported 26/11 Mumbai attacks mastermid terrorist Hafiz Muhammad Saeed on several ocassions.

Last year, she was seen on a poster of a government campaign - 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' alongside Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and others leading to a controversy.
