In Uttarakhand, the BJP had changed its CM three times and chose Pushkar Singh Dhami after the resignations of Trivendra Singh Rawat and Tirath Singh Rawat. In Karnataka, BS Yediyurappa stepped down and was replaced by Basavaraj Bommai.
