UPSC Mains 2022: CSE Interviews

UPSC CSE interviews will take place early next year. After that, final results, on the basis of Mains result and interview/personality test will be prepared.

UPSC Mains 2022: Result DATE

The official notice reads, “The candidates of the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2022 (CSM2022) are informed that the result of this Examination is likely to be declared.”

UPSC Mains 2022: Documents to keep ready

The UPSC has instructed applicants to have their original documents and self-attested photocopies available for the interview round. The list of necessary documents is available on upsc.gov.in.

UPSC Mains 2022: What after results?

Immediately after CSE Mains results, UPSC will open the portal to submit DAF II. All qualified candidates must fill this form to proceed further in the selection process. After that, the commission will release schedule and admission tickets for the personality test/interview round.

About 861 positions are planned to be filled through the examination, including 34 positions designated for people with benchmark disabilities, or 7 positions for individuals with

(a) Low vision and blindness; 11 openings for

Deaf and hard of hearing (b); 8 openings for

8- Vacancies for (e) multiple disabilities from persons under clauses (a) to (c), including deaf-blindness. (c) locomotor disability, including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims, and muscular dystrophy.

The Ministry of Railways has recently announced that recruitment for the Indian Railway Management Service will be done through a specially designed exam – Indian Railway Management Service Examination (IRMSE) 2023 onwards. The qualifying test for IRMSE Mains will be the CSE Prelims exam.

UPSC Mains 2022: Interview to be held next year

All of the qualifying candidates will undergo interviews and personality tests in the first few months of 2019. For the purpose of the personality tests and interviews, candidates are recommended to maintain all of the pertinent documents that apply to them available in original form along with a self-attested photocopy of each.
