Deepika Padukone answers question on rumours about her plans to attend Oscar Awards

Mumbai: Deepika Padukone is now a popular name in Hollywood. The season of the Academy Awards is here and our very own dimpled beauty recently cast a spell with her performance as Serena Unger in Vin Diesel’s ‘xXx: Return of the Xander Cage’.

For quite some time now, rumours mills have been suggesting that the lady will be flying to the US to attend the prestigious Awards ceremony.

But is she really going to attend the Oscars?

During an event held recently, on being quizzed about her Oscar appearance, Deepika, clearing the air, said: "That's an interesting question but no, no."

Well, that’s quite a clear answer.

The ‘Piku’ actress, who thanked her fans for appreciating her work in her debut Hollywood flick ‘xXx: Return of the Xander Cage’, is now busy with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’, a magnum opus in which she will play the titular role.
