ਸਹੁੰ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਮੋਦੀ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਤਿੰਨ ਵਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ (PM Narendra Modi) ਬਣਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਪੰਡਿਤ ਜਵਾਹਰ ਲਾਲ ਨਹਿਰੂ ਦੇ 62 ਸਾਲ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਦੀ ਬਰਾਬਰੀ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਨਹਿਰੂ 1952, 1957 ਅਤੇ 1962 ਵਿੱਚ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਤਿੰਨ ਵਾਰ ਜਿੱਤ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਣੇ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਨਹਿਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਕੋਲ ਪੂਰਨ ਬਹੁਮਤ ਸੀ। ਮੋਦੀ ਦੀ ਤੀਜੀ ਪਾਰੀ ਗਠਜੋੜ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ 'ਤੇ ਚੱਲੇਗੀ।
ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ 1990 ਤੋਂ ਗੱਠਜੋੜ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਰੁਝਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਨੇ ਮੋਦੀ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ 2014 ਅਤੇ 2019 ਵਿੱਚ ਪੂਰਨ ਬਹੁਮਤ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਕੇ ਤੋੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ, 2024 ਵਿੱਚ, ਭਾਜਪਾ 240 ਸੀਟਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਸਿਮਟ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਮਤ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਸੀ।
7 ਜੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਸਦ ਦੇ ਸੈਂਟਰਲ ਹਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਈ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਐਨਡੀਏ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਆਗੂ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਸੀ। ਹੁਣ ਸਹੁੰ ਦੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੀਨ, ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਫਗਾਨਿਸਤਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ 7 ਗੁਆਂਢੀ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ- ਸ਼੍ਰੀਲੰਕਾ, ਬੰਗਲਾਦੇਸ਼, ਮਾਲਦੀਵ, ਸੇਸ਼ੇਲਸ, ਮਾਰੀਸ਼ਸ, ਨੇਪਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਭੂਟਾਨ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਮੁਖੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣਗੇ।

ਰਵਨੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਿੱਟੂ ਨੇ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਸਹੁੰ ਚੁੱਕੀ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ 2014 ਤੋਂ ਮੋਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਅਹੁਦਿਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਨੁਮਾਇੰਦਗੀ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। 2014 ਵਿੱਚ ਅਰੁਣ ਜੇਤਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਤੋਂ ਹਾਰ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਿਆ ਸੀ। ਪਰ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜ ਸਭਾ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਵਿੱਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਹਾਰ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਰਵਨੀਤ ਬਿੱਟੂ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮੰਡਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਪੋਤੇ ਬਿੱਟੂ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣ ਹਾਰ ਗਏ ਸਨ, ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਫਾਈਲ ਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ 'ਚ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੀ ਪੈਂਠ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਯਤਨਾਂ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਤੇਲੰਗਾਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਚੁਣੇ ਗਏ ਸੰਜੇ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਤੇ ਜੀ ਕਿਸ਼ਨ ਰੈੱਡੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੋਦੀ ਦੀ ਰਿਹਾਇਸ਼ ਲਈ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਜ਼ਦੀਕੀ ਸੂਤਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਸੰਭਾਵਿਤ ਮੰਤਰੀਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਕੋਈ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਬਿਆਨ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ।
