National Ayurveda Day to be observed on October 28: Ayush Ministry

New Delhi: The Ministry of AYUSH on Thursday said National Ayurveda Day will be observed throughout the country on October 28.

On the occassion of National Ayurveda Day, the Ministry is also organizing a one day National Seminar on Prevention and Control of Diabetes through Ayurveda.

A statement from the Ministry said that it will launch Mission Madhumeha through Ayurveda on the occasion.

The statement said, "The Mission Madhumeha will be implemented throughout the country through a specially designed National Treatment Protocol for effective management of Diabetes through Ayurveda".

"The national treatment Protocol will also be released on the occasion of the National Seminar," the statement added.
