Doctor gives birth to baby girl in a moving car!

New Delhi: In what can be termed as an unusual delivery, a doctor named Victoria Williams gave birth to her own baby inside a moving car, on the way to the hospital on May 2, 2017.

According to a report in Deccan Chronical, Dr Victoria Williams, who has delivered many babies never thought that she would deliver her own baby while travelling. She started the day normal, her water broke at 6.45 am. She decided to head straight to the birthing centre at the hospital where she worked and woke her husband, Adam, and her daughter up. She works at California's Petaluma Valley Hospital and the baby was to be delivered in the same hospital.

She wrote on her Facebook page that she had never missed any deliveries, even taking night time calls. She had no reason to think that she would not make it in time to the hospital for her own delivery.

As per reports, Dr Victoria Williams began to push involuntarily on the way as she was scared that she wouldn’t reach the hospital in time. She decided to deliver the child in the car while her husband was driving to the hospital because of the slow-moving traffic. The delivery was carried out successfully and the baby was also reported to be healthy.
