Kapil Sharma’s former rumoured girlfriend Preeti Simoes planning new show with Sunil Grover? Here’s the truth

Mumbai: Until Kapil Sharma introduced his ladylove Ginni Chatrath to his followers on Twitter last month, it was being believed that he was dating Preeti Simoes, the creative director of his show. However, neither Kapil nor Preeti ever really spoke about their rumoured relationship!

Soon after the mid-flight fight between Kapil and Sunil Grover, Preeti had gone for a vacation with her family and in her absence, the star comedian had reportedly hired a new creative director.

Speculations were rife that Preeti was planning a new show with Grover. But according to a report in India.com, originally attributed to TOI, these reports are baseless.

“Yes I too just heard some strange stories about me launching a new show with Sunil Grover. There are no such developments. It’s all a figment of some over active imagination. We have all been a great team and worked well. In fact, I share a very special bond with not just Sunil, but all of them. Sunil and I fight like siblings over creative issues and I always consider him like a brother that I don’t have. They all have looked out for me as my family. Any plans for the future (which presently are on hold) will be taken with their guidance cause of the mutual respect we have for each other. But considering the present scenario I don’t think anyone is in the space of planning as these false reports suggest. The sad part is no one has even called to verify the story but has based it on assumptions of an unknown source. I wish credibility of these sources was checked. It’s not fair to keep feeding fans with false information especially at such sensitive times,” TOI quoted Preeti as saying.

It’s been over a little less than a month, Sunil, Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar have shot for ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. Now, TKSS has a few new but familiar faces from the world of TV on board.
