Sangeeta Bijlani not miffed with 'Azhar', says Emraan Hashmi
B-Town's talented star Emraan Hashmi will be next seen in a biopic based on the life of cricket legend Mohammad Azharuddin. The film titled 'Azhar' also has Prachi Desai and Nargis Fakhri in the lead roles.

New Delhi: B-Town's talented star Emraan Hashmi will be next seen in a biopic based on the life of cricket legend Mohammad Azharuddin. The film titled 'Azhar' also has Prachi Desai and Nargis Fakhri in the lead roles.
Recently, there were reports about former actress and ex wife of Azharruddin, Sangeeta Bijlani being upset about the movie. However, Emraan has slammed the reports.
The film has been directed by Tony D'Souza. There were reports that Bijlani was not pleased with the making of the movie, which reminds her of the time when she was married to the ex-cricketer.
"That's completely wrong. Even Azhar bhai was a bit concerned about that. She didn't say anything of that sort to the press but some paper had carried it, which is baseless," Emraan told PTI.
In the movie, Nargis Fakhri will essay the role of Bijlani, who was married to the former cricketer until their divorce in 2010.
'Azhar' stars Emraan in the titular role and also features Prachi Desai, Lara Dutta among others. The movie is scheduled to release on May 13.
