'Jason Bourne 5' set for pan-India release!

Mumbai: Matt Damon-starrer English action thriller 'Jason Bourne 5' is all set to hit theatres in India on August 5.

The film will also be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions for Bourne lovers across the country.

The movie, which is a fifth installment in the 'Bourne' franchise, stars Oscar winner actress Alicia Vikander and 'The Bourne Ultimatum' star Julia Stiles.

Directed by Paul Greengrass, it will mark the return of Damon as Bourne.

"Matt makes Bourne very relatable as an 'everyman', this protagonist who has found his way into this situation and is struggling to find his truth...A balance in who he is.

"I believe the film's grittiness and realness stand in contrast to other films in this genre, and that will make people feel like they're watching something with more gravity," said producer Gregory Goodman.

Damon had earlier worked with the franchise in its three films including 'Bourne Identity', 'Bourne Supremacy' and 'Bourne Ultimatum'. 'Bourne Legacy', the fourth film in the franchised, had Jeremy Renner in the lead role.

The movie will witness the unexpected arrival of Jason Bourne at a time when the world is faced with unprecedented instability.
