Ahead of release, Rajinikanth's introduction scene from 'Kabali' leaked online?

Chennai: Just a day ahead of the grand release of superstar Rajinikanth's most-anticipated movie of the year Kabali's opening scenes have been leaked online, claimed media reports.

India Today reported that the introduction scene of Rajinikanth in the film has been leaked online. 

The video clip featuring Rajinikanth is already doing rounds on social media, it said.

Interestingly, film's producer Kalaipuli S Dhanu had recently filed a petition at the Madras High Court to fight against the rampant piracy issues.

In a big relief to its producers, the Madras High Court had on July 15 restrained the license of 169 registered Internet Service Providers (ISPs) in India from permitting illegal downloads of 'Kabali'.

However, the report also quoted a source close to the unit rejecting all such rumours.

Reportedly, the film had a special screening with actor Rajinikanth in the US yesterday (June 20).

A Facebook post named TamilRockers.com is believed to behind the leaking of the movie online. 

However, there is no official confirmation about the same.
