New Delhi: There have been ample number of television shows on 'Ramayana' and 'Mahabharata'. We have seen the legendary tales being depicted by various actors on the small screens but never did we see how the tale of Ramayana unfolds from Sita's perspective.

The new show on Star Plus titled 'Siya Ke Ram' perhaps answers our query. The show has received immense response from the viewers in just a few months of its start. 'Siya Ke Ram' as the title itself justifies the show, narrates the age-old 'Ramayana' but with specific focus given to how goddess Sita functioned as 'janak putri' in Mithila and her much known Swayamvara to lord Ram.

The treatment of the show has been kept somewhat similar to 'Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev' yet there is a certain amount of freshness which makes this one stand apart. Getting to know who Sita was and how she looked up to lord Ram is certainly fascinating.

With the current episode moving towards Sita and her sisters going to Ayodhya where her in-laws are waiting after their respective weddings is something we are eagerly looking forward to.
